An inspection typically takes 5-10 minutes. However, some can take up to 45 minutes, because it depends on how big your kitchen is. During the inspection, we’ll add numbered stickers to each unit, and take inventory of each unit’s size, make, model…making it easier to maintain. This can take 25-45 minutes. After an approval is received, we’ll order the materials (takes 3-5 days) and then install, which can take minutes or an hour (depending on the size). For example, replacing a half-door gasket on a single unit can take about 5-15 minutes.

We do it around your business hours, and we won’t show up during the lunch or dinner rush! Plus, once the appointment time is cofirmed by you, we come in the backdoor like a ninja…so we’ll quietly do our business and get out of your way.

It could be the compressor (which can be expensive), or its something like a gasket not sealing properly.  If you have a refrigeration gasket replacement need, or anything like a door hinge, cutting board, strip curtains, etc., we can help. Simply call or fill out a form on our website, and we’ll be in touch soon. Got a health inspection scheduled? No worries, we’ll come quickly to perform a comprehensive (and complimentary) gasket inspection. No obligation at all. We’ll show you what needs to be done – we advise, you decide. If you agree on the proposal, we’ll order the materials and have it installed typically within 5 business days. Voila! It’s that easy.

Gaskets are made of rubber. They tear, break, and degrade over time based on usage. A failing gasket can cause a negative health inspection report and prevent coolers or refrigerators from cooling food properly (leading to spoilage). Improperly fitted or functioning gaskets can also cause cross-contamination especially in chicken and steak refrigeration drawers.

Don’t waste your time. A specialist is a person who concentrates primarily on a particular subject or activity. They are highly skilled in a specific field. That’s why we are Gasket Specialists – we know all the refrigeration manufacturers, the composition of gaskets, how to appropriately size and measure them, and, of course, ensure they function correctly. While doing it yourself isn’t rocket science, it can be challenging without the know-how and tools. Plus, restaurant and kitchen operators, and their employees, have much more important things to do than fiddle with gasket replacements.
